The forward was already made available to other teams earlier this month, now his (now former) club has released him.

EHC Visp

Jake Virtanen is no longer part of EHC Visp. The Swiss League club has announced that they dissolved their contract with the 26-year-old. He had joined them in November after being without a team for the earlier part of the season.

Virtanen, who put up 14 goals and eleven assists in 21 games for Visp, was made available to other teams earlier this month. Attitude issues were stated as the reason for this. There reportedly is interest from the DEL but also from the National League in the Canadian.
