Swiss League

The 32-year-old Italian is in possession of a Swiss players' license. This season, he played with the Pioneers Vorarlberg of the ICEHL. He is expected to join the team in the coming days.

The veteran goaltender played junior hockey in Lugano, before playing in the Italian and Austrian leagues for almost eleven years. In his return to Switzerland, he could be the third goaltender to play for EHC Visp, with Reto Lory and Matteo Ritz playing all 42 games for Visp.

This season, Caffi has a .909 save percentage and a goals against average of 3.11 in 21 games with Vorarlberg, who sit in last place in the ICEHL.

After this campaign, he will move back to the Pioneers Vorarlberg, where he signed a one-year contract extension today.
