Timothy Kast's contract with EHC Olten runs out in spring. Whether the forward will continue his career or hang up his skates is not yet sure. "I will think about it in the near future", Kast tells the Oltner Tagblatt. "I have not had a meeting with the club yet and we will see where the road will take us."
Another season of professional hockey would definitely be an option. "Of course, it would be nice if I could experience the National League one more time. Ideally here with the EHC Olten."
The 34-year-old would be set up for a life off the ice as well though. He has a bachelor's in law and intends to complete another degree with a master's thesis in criminal and sports law next year.
