"Budget-wise, we are limited, but at the same time we are trying to get the best out of it" states Kevin Schläpfer. The team manager would prefer to first see the candidates in a try-out, but the time is now pressing. As for the position of the experienced defenseman, Schläpfer admits that Edson Harlacher, currently in try-out, is a topic but that there are other candidates as well.

Moreover, the Berner Zeitung also reveals that the signing of youngster Laurin Liniger is expected soon. The 19-year-old forward, who spent the last championship with SC Lyss in the MySports League, was apparently able to impress SC Langenthal's staff during a try-out and convinced them to offer him a contract.
