He will, however, only work part-time for the team. Christian Matthys already served as EHC Visp's goaltending coach from 2011 to 2014 and then HC Prättigau-Herrschaft for one season.
He also coached the goaltenders of EHC Winterthur from 2016 to 2019. The last two seasons, he was part of HC Luzern's organization.
