Halfway through his two-year deal with EHC Visp, Lorenz Kienzle has decided to put an end to his tenure with them, as the club announces. Health-related reasons are cited. Whether the 34-year-old will continue his career elsewhere or put an end to it is not yet known.
Kienzle made 16 games in the regular season and another six in the playoffs for Visp. He had been sidelined for about ten months due to a ruptured cruciate ligament of his right knee before being able to return to action in January.
