Marco Cavalleri, 22, joined the newly promoted Swiss League team after a successful try-out from the organization of Lausanne HC shortly before the start of the 2021-22 season and managed to put up three goals and eight assists in 27 games for them.
As for Diego Schwarzenbach, the 35-year-old left winger arrived in Basel following a three-year stint in Olten last summer and was able to record 43 points (17 goals, 26 assists) in a total of 41 Championship games for his new colors.
