If there were an offside situation ahead of a goal, it would thus be possible for a team to use the Coaches Challenge. After each goal, there will be a 45-second break in order to give enough time to the teams to challenge a certain situation.
A team can challenge the referee's decision in this particular case up to the next faceoff. The referees will be able to check the TV footage to judge the situation.
