Due to the current situations, the clubs of the Swiss League teams have now decided to change some things: the standings will now be based on the "points per game" criterion, but a champion will only be crowned if each team has played at least 37 games. Also, at least 15 players plus one goalie have to be available for a team to be able to play a game.

Should referees be sidelined by Covid-19, the games can also be conducted with a three-men-system. As for the games which were postponed, the Swiss League has decided to play through the break that was originally scheduled from January 31 to February 9.
