Stefan Rüegsegger joins SC Langenthal from the SCL Tigers for the upcoming season. Last season, the 23-year-old forward already suited up 33 times for them via B-license (eight goals, eight assists). Frantisek Rehak, 21, for his part, moves to Langenthal from the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers.
Moreover, the Oberaargauer have secured the services of two young goaltenders who will compete for the backup-spot behind their starting goalie Pascal Caminada. Colin Stauffacher joins them from EHC Biel's U20-Elit on a one-year deal, and Stéphane Charlin via B-license from Genève-Servette HC.
In addition to Charlin, also the B-license of Genève-Servette HC's 18-year-old defender Giancarlo Chanton remains with SC Langenthal. Last season, Chanton appeared in 13 games with Langenthal on loan from the SCL Tigers (one goal, one assist).
