Per Hånberg as head coach and Björn Lidström as his assistant have both signed one-year contracts in Visp. For the past two years, the duo has been working for EHC Kloten, with which they won the regular season twice.

As a consequence, it is clear that Yves Sarault will not be back with EHC Visp next season. The Canadian took over the team in the second half of the season.

Moreover, the Lions have signed two young talents from SC Bern's U20-Elit for the upcoming season. 19-year-old defenseman Finn Fuchs and 18-year-old forward Pascal Brunner. Both had successful try-outs in Visp.
