The forward will stay with the club and take over the Young Lions' U20 as head coach.

Patrick Brändli
HC Thurgau

After David Wildhaber, a second player of HC Thurgau has decided to retire at a relatively young age. Patrick Brändli has also put an end to his active career. However, other than Wildhaber, Brändli will continue working for the Lions as head coach of their youth organization's U20 team.

Thurgau is the only non-amateur squad the 25-year-old played for, making 188 appearances in the Swiss League and recording 26 goals and 42 assists. Other than that, Brändli played in lower leagues for the Pikes Oberthurgau, EHC Arosa and SC Herisau.
