Stefan Ulmer will be back with HCC
Philip Åhlström will definitely not be available to head coach Thierry Paterlini in Game 1 of the best-of-three series against the GCK Lions. The 25-year-old has not yet recovered from a concussion, Arcinfo reports.
Paterlini, however, hopes that he will be able to count on three reinforcements from EHC Biel: Stefan Ulmer, Yanick Stampfli, and Gilian Kohler. Their presence, however, is not yet certain.
According to the Journal du Jura, Ulmer has asked EHC Biel to play a few more games with HC La Chaux-de-Fonds. "He doesn't feel ready yet to play again in the National League," team manager Martin Steinegger explains.
