“I’m planning on heading there Jan. 31 to play,” Mason McTavish tells The Petersborough Examiner. He also adds that he hopes that everything will work out and he will be able to play again.

With the OHL start postponed indefinitely, the forward, who was born in Switzerland, is just looking to get some games in and will return to the Peterborough Petes once the OHL season gets underway.

EHC Olten already has another top prospect in their midst with Brennan Othmann. According to McTavish, the original plan was for them to join Olten at the same time: "We were supposed to go at the same time, that was the plan, but he got in (earlier) somehow. I’m not 100 percent sure how. I’m looking forward to seeing him there and getting to a team."
