Birchler and Braus will stay with EHC Winterthur beyond this season

20-year-old defenseman Ari Shane Birchler is a product of EHC Winterthur's organization, but only returned to them this year after four seasons with the ZSC Lions' organization. In 14 games for Winterthur this season, he has recorded two goals.

Timo Braus also joined EHC Winterthur this season. The 20-year-old forward spent his formative years with the SCL Tigers. In 13 games for the Lions this season, he has recorded one goal and one assist.
