The short-term contract of the Finnish forward is coming to an end soon. SCL is looking for money to keep him on board for the rest of the season.

Will Eero Elo stay in Langenthal for the entire season?

"He must not cost SC Langenthal anything and his contract expires at the end of November," team manager Kevin Schläpfer explains to Klaus Zaugg (Solothurner Zeitung). "We must find new patrons."

Eero Elo's two-month stint in Langenthal has already been paid for by private donors. According to Zaugg, the 30-year-old is a rather cheap solution with a salary of no more than CHF 5,000 per month.

So far, Elo has convinced Langenthal's staff with nine points (four goals) in nine games. "He's integrated very well into the team, he's a pleasant guy, and he's making his points," Schläpfer says.
