Also, Bruno Aegerter will remain the Swiss League team's head coach for the time being.

Who, if anyone, will replace Mark Van Guilder for the time being?
EHC Visp

EHC Visp parted ways with Matti Alatalo last week and announced that Bruno Aegerter would take over for the time being. As the Walliser Bote reports, short-time changes to that status quo are not planned.

As long as they do not have any planning security in regard to the championship, Aegerter will remain EHC Visp's head coach. As for Alatalo, there will be a meeting next week to reach a financial agreement with him.

Due to Mark Van Guilder's injury, EHC Visp has been on the lookout for a temporary replacement for the forward. Two players are on their shortlist. Aegerter, who is also still working as Visp's team manager, will likely make a decision by the end of the week. Of course, this will all depend on the Federal Council's announcements on Wednesday.
