Tyler Higgins, who was part of Toronto's York University team (playing in the Canadian USports League) last season, is a Canadian with a Swiss license. The 22-year-old defenseman has never played in Europe before.

Billy Hunziker, also a defender, spent the last two seasons with EHC Basel. In spring 2019, the 23-year-old was already part of EHC Olten via B-license after Basel was eliminated from the MySports League-playoffs, but never made a game for them.

The other two players, 19-year-old blueliner Jan Schöni and 18-year-old forward Noah Fuss are both part of SC Bern's elite juniors. The former was once part of EHC Olten's youth department.
