Ramón Diem and Dexter Dancs will also no longer suit up for the Lions next season.

Guggisberg not to play for Winterthur

According to Der Landbote, it is not yet clear where goaltender Tim Guggisberg and Canadian forward Dexter Dancs will play next season. However, according to Elite Prospects, Guggisberg is rumored to join EHC Wetzikon. Ramón Diem, for his part, will return to EHC Bülach. The 25-year-old forward already played for them in the 2018-19 season.

While EHC Winterthur announced a lot of roster moves yesterday, there are still some positions to be filled. They need to fill some spots in defense and are also looking for a centerman for the second line. They, of course, also still have to announce the name of their new head coach.

CEO Urban Leimbacher also tells the same source that EHC Winterthur will not have a partner team next season. This would have provided some financial relief for them, but they will make do, Leimbacher states: "For us, all of the National League teams are somewhat partner teams."
