Nico Gurtner has been suspended for a check to the head/crosscheck against SC Langenthal's Dario Kummer. The incident occurred in the game on January 23. Gurtner already sat out one of the two games he will miss.
In 31 games for the EVZ Academy, the defenseman, who is playing on loan from the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers with the Swiss League team, has recorded two goals.
