Silas Matthys and EHC Olten have a future together

The Aargauer Zeitung already reported two weeks ago that Matthys was close to reaching an agreement with EHC Olten. "Silas Matthys has completely fulfilled the expectations placed in him. We are happy to have him in our ranks for another two years," team manager Marc Grieder states.

Matthys is currently in his first season with EHC Olten. The 27-year-old netminder has appeared in 18 games for the Mice this season, posting a .925 save percentage.
