As he tells the Berner Zeitung, it was once his goal to come to Switzerland. Having achieved that, he would now like to continue his adventure here: "If there's a suitable opportunity, I'll stay."
Melichar joined SC Langenthal from EHC Freiburg. He served as head coach for the team for half a season but had been with the team as an assistant coach since the 2014-15 season.
