EHC Winterthur signs Steve Mason to short-term contract

The 31-year-old Dutch-Canadian forward, who is in possession of a Swiss players' license, most recently played with the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers, for which he suited up in a total of 210 games in the past four years (37 goals, 68 assists).

As for Luca Homberger, the 27-year-old forward is dealing with a partially torn cruciate ligament and will be out of the lineup for another three and a half months.
