The Board of Directors will also undergo changes with the departure of Alain Dubois, Joris Engisch and Eric Nagels at the end of 2019-2020. Two new members were admitted to this board: Laurent Winkenbach, who will represent the club on the pilot committee for the renovation of the ice rink, and Walter Tosalli, president of the 100th-anniversary committee.

The 2018-19 season ended with a slight deficit of CHF 1'524.16, compared to CHF 148'557 after the previous season despite reduced amortisation (CHF 62'145 compared to CHF 73'013) and despite an increase in game revenues (CHF 958'972, compared to CHF 704'004) with a total of 80'000 spectators (+39.1% compared to last season) and those from catering amounting to CHF 535'248 (+ CHF 141'000 ).

Present at the meeting, Rolf Aeberhard, Head of the Sports Department of the city, brought good news about the renovation of the Les Mélèzes sports complex. The pilot committee in charge of this project proposed a renovation project which includes the ice rink. The project is estimated to cost between 15 and 20 million francs. HC La Chaux-de-Fonds will be called upon to collaborate on the construction of an ice rink capable of accommodating 6,000 people to meet National League standards. Funding should be provided through a public-private model. Work on this renovation is scheduled to begin in 2022, in the most optimistic scenario.
