After three seasons with EHC Olten, Stefan Mäder will be back with HC Ajoie, where he already played from 2012 to 2016. The 28-year-old left the Ajoulots after winning the Swiss League title in his last year with them.

Mäder made his debut on the professional level during the 2009-10 season, in both the highest (with the SCL Tigers) and the second highest league (with HC Sierre). After mainly playing on loan in the then-National League B, the forward fully joined a team in that league - Ajoie - in 2012.

In a total of 483 Swiss League games so far, Mäder has recorded 83 goals and 99 assists.
