Niki Altorfer found a new employer.

Niki Altorfer learned to play ice hockey in the organization of the ZSC Lions. In his junior years, the forward played exclusively for the Lions and the GCK Lions. With these two clubs Altorfer also played for the first time in the professional ice hockey leagues. In the 2008-09 season he played his first Swiss League games with the GCK Lions and one season later Altorfer put on the ZSC Lions jersey and made his debut in the National League. For the 2012-13 season, the winger joined EHC Visp. There, Altorfer played, with the exception of one season (2016-17 with the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers), for the past seven years.

HC Thurgau is convinced that Altorfer will strengthen the Thurgau ranks enormously with his experienced and clear playing style.

Over the course of his career, Altorfer has already played 498 Swiss League games, scoring 146 goals and collecting 171 assists, for a total of 317 points.
