EHC Winterthur will start the new season with two import-players again, Der Landbote writes. It is, however, not yet clear if they will carry on with the two Canadian forwards Anthony Nigro (25 points in 42 games this season) and Jared Gomes (28 points in 28 games). Their contracts are expiring after one season and have not yet been extended.

Furthermore, EHC Winterthur is looking for a second goaltender to complement their goaltender duo with Tim Guggisberg. Also the future of defenseman Atanasio Molina and forward Kevin Bozon is still up in the air. Still according to the same source, the 28-year-old forward Samuel Keller has decided to retire.
