Michael Roos was Winterthur's most productive defenseman in the past regular season. In 44 games, he recorded a total of 18 points (four goals). On the whole team, he ranked fifth in terms of collected points, behind the two import-forwards Jared Gomes and Anthony Nigro, as well as Tim Wieser and Anthony Staiger.
The 28-year-old joined Winterthur in the 2016-17 season, after he suited up for HC Thurgau for four seasons.
