With his contract coming to an end in spring, the 38-year-old is hoping to be able to take the next step in his career.

Would like to take the next step: Jan Cadieux.
HCB Ticino Rockets

"Everything is open," Cadieux says in an interview with La Liberté, when he was asked if he will stay on as head coach of the HCB Ticino Rockets next season. "I would like to take a step ahead and work as an assistant coach in the National League, for example."

The 38-year-old did not regret his move to Biasca: "I wanted to leave my comfort zone and see something different," he says to the same source. "It's been hard, frustrating at times, but I believe I did a good job. As a young coach, I've learned a lot. That's positive."

For now, his whole focus is on the last games of the season with the Rockets: "I want to finish with my head up high." What will follow afterwards is still up in the air: "Uncertainty is part of the business."
