The contracts of HC La Chaux-de-Fonds' Christophe Bays and Tim Wolf will both expire at the end of the season, so there is an opportunity for Ritz to slide into one of those spots.
The 20-year-old goaltender is a product of EHC Visp's organization but has been with Lausanne HC since 2013. This season, the goaltender was loaned to Star-Forward (MySports League). In 18 games for them, he received on average 3.67 goals.
