Ganz activated his option in December and was willing to stay another season with HCC but will now leave the team because of personal reasons. In 32 games for them this past season, he recorded seven goals and 16 assists.
HC La Chaux-de-Fonds has already found a replacement for the defender in Kevin Kühni. The 25-year-old played for EHC Visp and HC Fribourg-Gottéron last season, recording two goals and two assists in 44 games. He has agreed to a one-year contract.
HCC will also be able to count on Enzo Guebey next season. The 19-year-old defenseman will play for them via B-license. He made his National League debut for Genève-Servette HC last season. While he appeared in 16 games for them, he did not put his name on the scoresheet.
