EHC Kloten is still working on their team for the upcoming season. Today, the club announced the signings of forwards Thibaut Monnet and Fabian Sutter (photo).

Monnet joins Kloten from HC Ambrì-Piotta, where he played for the last three years. He signed a one-year deal. The forward started his career with HC Martigny, where he also made his NLB-debut in the 1997-1998 season. His first game in the NLA came three years later in 2000 with HC La-Chaux-de-Fonds. Since then, the 36-year-old has played for various teams, most notably the ZSC Lions, where he won two National League titles and the Champions Hockey League, and HC Fribourg-Gottéron.

In a total of 943 games in the two highest leagues in Switzerland, Monnet has recorded 291 goals and 341 assists.

35-year-old Sutter also joins on a one-year contract. He spent his last three seasons with EHC Biel. During his career, Sutter has played for SC Bern (where he made his NLA-debut in the 1999-2000 season), HC Davos (where he won two National League titles), the SCL Tigers (where he was captain for two seasons) and EV Zug.

In over a thousand National League games, Sutter has recorded 160 goals and 204 assists.
