The 37-year-old defenseman played for Medveščak Zagreb last season but then returned to Genève-Servette HC shortly before the playoffs. While the Tribune de Genève reported in mid-August that GSHC would likely not be able to sign Bezina to a new deal due to their financial situation, they now have found a solution after all.
As he tells Le Matin, he hopes to play in GSHC's game against the Schwenninger Wild Wings on Saturday. Bezina played 56 games for Zagreb and ten games for the Grenats last season, recording a total of four goals and 14 assists.
