The 33-year-old, whose contract would have run out at the end of the upcoming season, thus stays in Davos at least until 2020. He has been part of HC Davos since 2014 when he joined them from the Kloten Flyers. In his three years with the team, he has been one of HCD's alternate captains.
As Kapp also reports, HC Davos is close to signing defenseman Tim Grossniklaus to a one-year contract. The 22-year-old is currently with the team on a tryout-basis. Defenseman Ruben Rampazzo, on the other hand, might receive a tryout opportunity with EHC Visp.
