Adding Bezina to their roster might also ensure that HC Lugano will not experience the same problems as last season when their defense was heavily decimated due to injuries. The defender would certainly add some depth to their roster. But, as the newspaper also writes, while Bezina's agent has been in contact with all National League teams, nothing concrete has come of it as of now.
Bezina also stated in mid-July that he could hardly imagine playing for a club in Switzerland other than Genève-Servette HC and that he is looking to join a team abroad. It remains thus to be seen, where the 37-year-old defenseman will end up.
