On Friday, August 4 at the Kursaal in Bern, awards in the categories "Youngster of the Year", "Goaltender of the Year", "Most Popular Player", "Woman of the Year", and a "Hockey Award" will be handed out to the deserving winners.
In addition, the "Most Valuable Player" will be honoured. This year, however, there will be two awards: one for the MVP of the regular season 2016-17 and one for the MVP of the playoffs.
The "Most Popular Player" will be elected once again directly by the fans via an online vote on the website of 20 Minuten until Juli 27. The nominees for the other categories are:
