Back in February, HC Ambrì-Piotta's team manager Ivano Zanatta confirmed the Biancoblù's interest in the young forward. Simic, however, has now decided to return to Lausanne HC for whose Elite-A he played from 2014 to 2016. He is listed on their U20 roster for the upcoming season.
Simic spent the past season in North America, where he played in the junior league, QMJHL, with the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada (31 games, 3 goals, 10 assists) and, most recently, with the Moncton Wildcats (25 games, 2 goals, 8 assists).
