The 29-year-old American was one of the most productive defenders of the NLA in the past season, scoring nine goals and 20 assists in 44 games for EHC Kloten. The former first-round pick of the New York Rangers has appeared in 50 NHL games and over 400 AHL games.

As the Bianconeri already have Linus Klasen (SWE), Jani Lajunen (FIN), and Maxim Lapierre (CAN) under contract for the upcoming season, Sanguinetti (USA) is thus their fourth import player.
