As HC Davos announces, they have come to terms with Tuomo Ruutu. The Finn will join HCD for the rest of the season.

As Daniel Rahimi, who was playing for Davos despite a torn ligament, needs to recover from his injury, they have decided to sign another import player. Ruutu was released from a professional tryout contract with the Vancouver Canucks in mid-October.

The 33-year-old forward has played in 751 NHL games, scoring 147 goals and 203 assists for the Chicago Blackhawks, the Carolina Hurricanes and the New Jersey Devils. Last season, he scored one assist in 33 games for the Devils.
