At the ordinary assembly, EHC Kloten's CEO Patrick Hagen presented the shareholders with a loss of CHF 650,000 .-. The year before, when Kloten was in the Swiss League and conquered the promotion, the loss amounted to 1.5 million francs. The better result was made possible in part by the higher income. Gross profit increased by around 4.3 million francs to around 10.6 million francs. However, personnel expenses also rose by 4.7 million to 11.1 million francs.
Moreover, there is optimism for this year's balances as some expenses linked to the promotion to the National League weighed on the balances of the past season but are now taken care of.
Additionally, the two members of Kloten's board were unanimously voted in. Mike Schälchli's successor as chairman is new-entry Jan Schibli, while the returning member Jan Sommerhalder takes over from Heinz Eberhart as the vice chairman. Schibli and Sommerhalder will, however, lead the EHC Kloten Sport AG in a co-presidency. In addition to Schälchli and Eberhart, also Urs Stieger and Peter Neukom retired from their offices.
