The club still owes 1.8 million CHF to the federation for Covid loans, but they are slowly repaying the debt.

In each of the last 28 months, HC Lugano have spent CHF 107,000.- to pay down the granted loans. They are set to be free of their debt by April 2024, if everything goes according to plan.

As the on-ice goal for the season, the club aims to make the playoffs "the best possible way". Besides that, they want to have a more solid and consistent season.

To honor his achievements with the Bianconeri, John Slettvoll has been introduced to their Hall of Fame. The now 79-year-old former coach won four National League titles in his time with the club in the 80s and early 90s.

The Cornèr Arena currently stands 3906 sold season tickets, with ten days to go until the start of the season.
