The 34-year-old forward has signed a one-year contract with SC Bern and will thus stay until the end of the 2023-24 season.

Two weeks ago the Berner Zeitung reported that Andrew Ebbett would like to keep Colton Sceviour around for another season. At the time, it was not yet clear when a decision regarding Sceviour's future with the Bears would be made.

The Canadian played his first season in Europe last season and recorded 19 goals and 19 assists in 41 regular-season games for SCB. In the postseason, he added two goals and four assists in eight games to his tally.
