After the departure of Magnus Nygren, HCD has found a replacement for next season. Kristian Näkyvä has signed a one-year contract, which includes an option for an additional season.
"Näkyvä is exactly the addition to our defense we were still looking for," team manager Jan Alston says. "Besides his great overview and skating skills, he will also make our offense stronger with his great passing and shooting skills."
Kristian Näkyvä already knows Davos from last year's Spengler Cup, where he participated with Örebro HK. He has played for the SHL club for the past five seasons. This past season, he appeared in 65 games for them, in which he recorded 42 points (eight goals).
