Guillaume Maillard will thus pursue his professional hockey career elsewhere. Maillard already played for Lausanne HC during his junior days but made his debut on the professional stage with Genève-Servette HC.
The forward returned to the Lions in 2020. This season, he recorded three goals and three assists in 22 games for them. He also suited up for EHC Biel, putting up two goals and two assists in 13 games.
