Almost a month after Carl Klingberg announced that he is going to leave Zug at the end of the season, his future is still open. That he will turn his back on Switzerland, is not yet sure: "If a suitable offer comes, I would like to stay in Switzerland," he says to the Luzerner Zeitung.
However, the newspaper only reports of some "loose interest" from National League clubs so far. In addition, there are clubs from Sweden and Germany who are courting him.
This past season, the 32-year-old forward suited up in 43 games for EV Zug (including playoffs) and recorded 19 points (eight goals).
