Gerry Fleming has signed a two-year contract with EHC Kloten. He joins the Flughafenstädter from the Löwen Frankfurt in the DEL. He took over the then newly promoted team in summer 2022 and led the Lions to the pre-playoffs, where they lost against the Düsseldorfer EG.
From 2019 to 2021 he was an assistant coach with the Eisbären Berlin. Before and after that he mainly coached in the AHL and the ECHL.
In addition, EHC Kloten also announces that they have extended the contract with forward Patrick Obrist for another year. Moreover, they confirm the departures of Arttu Ruotsalainen (
