According to the Tages-Anzeiger, Niki Altorfer will now hang up his skates. The forward only played 13 games for the National League team this season.
Altorfer is a product of the GCK/ZSC Lions' organization and also played his first professional games for them. He also suited up for EHC Visp for six seasons and one season for HC Thurgau and the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers. He won the Swiss League title twice: once with Visp and once with Kloten.
