Harri Säteri of EHC Biel has been elected as the Best Goaltender of the regular season by his peers. Genève-Servette HC has two players in the ranks: Henrik Tömmernes has been named the Best Defenseman and Jan Cadieux the Best Coach (one vote more than the Lakers' Stefan Hedlund).
18-year-old David Reichenbacher has been elected the Breakout Star of the season. The defenseman was the reason why NHL scouts were in Kloten on the regular. He appeared in 46 regular-season games for EHC Kloten, recording three goals and 19 assists.
