In 2017, EV Zug installed new flexible ice hockey boards in the Bossard Arena. The same type of boards was further developed and supplemented with LED modules, so that static advertising surfaces are no longer required and images will be digitally displayed on the boards.
Ibrahim Can, Head of Marketing & Sales, believes that the new boards will further expand their marketing opportunities: "The new LED board gives us a wide range of possibilities for visual effects to further improve the game experience for our fans. We will set a new benchmark with it. It also gives us additional potential in marketing, especially around our new women's team."
