As Genève-Servette HC announces, they have landed Theodor Lennström. Currently with the SHL's Färjestad BK, the defenseman will join in summer on a two-year deal.

"I am very happy to welcome Theodor Lennström to Geneva next season", team manager Marc Gautschi notes. "He is one of the most dominant defensemen in the SHL and he was our priority from the start."

Lennström started his career with Allmänna Idrottsklubben, making his SHL debut with them in 2013. Via BIK Karlskoga, Färjestad and Frölunda, the defenseman made his way to the Edmonton Oilers in 2020, but only got to play in the AHL. A year later, he moved to the KHL and then back to Sweden in February 2022, joining Färjestad again.

Last July, the 29-year-old signed an extension until 2026, but an out-clause has allowed him to join Genève-Servette.
